Post-apocalyptic Pro Wrestling - Part 2 - Additional Notes, Nomadic Groups, Key Npcs and Key Locations

Special acknowledgment of LoboGuara5bruxaria and TheBlueHour, from spacebattles.com, John Lamb
Kelly Warren and others from the Facebook group Post-apocalyptic Role Playing Games,  and the good folks at rpg.net for a lot of this that came from their own twisted imaginations.

Psychic Wrestling Theory.

One theory is that everyone has psychic potential and passively produces psychic energy, but few have the proper genetics and "energy reserves" to truly wield these psychic powers. Still, because of the presence of both background psychic energy combined with high levels of radiation spread across the united states these two kinds of energy have combined and created a couple of Pure Energy Beings that travel around the Post Apocalypse world. These entities generally passively observe the world around them without giving judgment or directly interfering on Human sociopolitics, but they can all be persuaded to help some individual people and factions if said factions/people have enough resources and understanding of these Pure Energy Beings' morality to pull it off.

The Belts.

Belts are high tech, possibly magical devices that somehow allow the wearer to share wrestling experience. A person wearing a wrestling belt is no stronger than before, but somehow his skill and experience are partially transmitted to his followers. Needless to say, belts grant a massive strategic advantage and are amongst the most coveted of old-world magi-tech.

Wandering Factions

Chikara

Their name comes from the Japanese Kanji for strength, there was once a promotion in Philadelphia Pennsylvania known for highly cerebral and pretty goofy style.

Their Temple/Dojo was destroyed by the WWWE, so these esoteric wrestlers now wander the continent acting as hired guns and senseis for the next generation.

Most wrestlers make fun of their talk of Chi energy and refer to it as the power of the cheese. :D

Gone Warrior

"Gone warrior" is a term for when wrestlers get possessed and start running in packs, tearing through anything that gets in their way. They are supernaturally enhanced even if their technique is best to be desired. They appear anywhere on the continent and often disappear without warning.

Wicked Walkers

There exist a "Horde" of wandering mutants simply know as the "Wicked Walkers" which consist of a small but growing number of random mutants and close family members from all across North America that travel across the lands to show their feats of physical and fighting powers, as well as testing them against a legendary wrestler with mixed results. Despite their reputation, they aren't a particularly violent group, but they do like to pass an image of "Fearsome Warriors" and they generally parade their most visibly mutated members as spokesman and mascots of their group for the sake of further cementing this Image, even if said spokespersons are too mutated to walk properly, let alone actually fighting...

There is a rumor of a single wrestler organizing the mutants.  He is simply known as the Mastadon and is rumored to be a super mutant of immense strength and durability.

Unique NPCs

Alicia Clementine 'The God of Death' Bellamy.
Despite having been driven insane by the loss of her family, and further insane after she transferred her consciousness into a horde of mind-controlling brain flukes so she could live forever, Alicia is amongst the most intelligent people in the world and the greatest geneticist and biologist on the planet. Too physically weak to enter most fights herself, she instead sells her biotechnology, most notably performance-enhancing combat steroids, to wrestling federations. This has led to several infamous scandals, like a planned duel between two federations that dissolved into a bloodbath with practically no survivors of either party after it was discovered that one side did not dose their fighters with combat steroids as had been previously agreed by the rules. She is responsible for the creation of the cyberbrain drake.

The Announcer.
This spirit resembles a mix of several small mammals that can fly, and whatever he finds two or more powerful fighters duking out, the Announcer projects a "film" of the fight for everyone in the country to see, while the Announcer projects his mental voices to provide "commentary" on said fight. The only reason why these mental projections don't cause mass death is because they only last a few mini-seconds outside the minds of everyone who receives said mental projections.

The Brain and the Gorilla.
Located smack dab in the center of the continent, in NWA heart of wrestling territory, the signal gets sent back to a gargantuan cybernetic brain, that is supported by an uplifted gorilla who do commentary. The Brain's name is Drake.

The Deadman.
Believed to have died in the depths of Death Valley, he is forever damned to wander the wastelands. He is the Ghost Story that makes even seasoned wrestlers sweat as he always comes back and has powers beyond the grave.

The Mad Maiden.
This vaguely female shaped robot made out of infernal iron and animal bones, she cheerfully serves as company and helper for Mr. Scratch in the deals he offers to mortals, but she is also a deadly machine that have slain any wrestler that made unwise moves against Mr. Scratch.  She is Hell's robot that everybody has been warned about.

Mama Critter.
This psychic energy being usually takes the form of a giant centipede, yet she talks like and old southern "grandma". Easily one of the most affably of the energy beings, but she has severe cynophobia, só unless you want to create a city wiping thunderstorm, don't bring your dog next to her.

And if you do, don't be surprised if, on the unlikely event of you surviving such devastation, the other survivors chase you out with pitchforks and any other firearms they have in hand.

The faction of the Western State Sports (Luchadors) has an overall quest to is to subdue the mighty energy beings like Mama Critter, but results have been mixed. Still, they did manage to subdue multiple "lesser" spirits to their fold, and most believe that subduing the "Greater Ones"* is an inevitability, so no worries if they lose a few trackers along the way of besting the Greater Ones.

The Mummy.
Henry the Mummy is an extremely well preserved "corpse" of an early mutant that while once an average guy in life, his body now currently resembles a vague mix of a gigantic alligator and crow. Alicia Clementine Found Henry body laying still in a muddy swamp, and multiple analysis has shown that Henry's body continuously produces a substance that, when properly worked with other chemicals, can be used to mutate another living organism in a more reliable and organized way that allows those who ingest it to gain body morphing abilities to varying degrees.

A large amount of said substance has already been extracted from the mummy, yet it seems that Henry's body can produce it in an almost endless manner. How exactly can such a body produce such insane amounts of the substance in defiance to the conservation of matter aren't clear, but Alicia theorizes that it may be a result of complex biochemistry combined with passive psychic power in some way or another?

This small ring is considered the center of wrestling.  Not the biggest or even the most well established, it is considered neutral ground for contentious issues between the factions.
